BORDEAUX CHATEAUS AND VILLAGES
Of course, when it comes to Bordeuax, wine is at the first place. In this program, we visit the vineyards and cellars of many world-famous producers and roll over the huge sand dunes of Archachon. We examine the oldest prehistoric cave paintings of the world in Lascaux II Cave, which is included in the UNESCO Heritage List, and fully experience the medieval villages and towns of the Dordogne region.
Day 1:
Bordeaux
30 minutes drive, 20 km. 4 hours easy city walk.
After arriving at Bordeaux Airport at noon, our city center tour starts. Cailhau Gate, Pierre Church, Bourse Square, Sainte-Catherine Street, Pierre Bridge, Quinconces Square and Fountain, the largest square in France, are among the places to see in the historical city center, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. We are visiting the Museum of Fine Arts, which hosts the most exclusive works of France among the historical city center trip. Then free time to settle into the hotel and have dinner.
Day 2:
St. Émilion and wine tastings, Arcachon, Pilat Sand Dunes
After breakfast we are heading to St. Émilion, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List and famous for its narrow streets and Romanesque churches. St. Émilion is the first place that comes to mind when it comes to Bordeaux wine. We will have wine tasting and lunch in the most prestigious castles of the region, such as Chateau Coutet. Afterwards, we will visit Pilat Sand Dunes, one of Europe's most interesting geographical formations, the highest sand dune in the world. The dune, which is 110 meters high from the sea, is constantly growing. After a short walk here, we move to the cute fishing city of Arcachon, the oyster production center of France. After a pleasant trip here, we will decide either to have dinner here or go back to Bordeaux.

Day 3:
Beynac-et-Cazenac, Lascaux II, Les Eyzies-de-Tayac-Sireuil
6 hours drive, 400 km. 5 hours easy city walk.
Todays program starts with some of the most pretty villages of France such as Les Eyzies-de-Tayac-Sireuil, Beynac-et-Cazenac, Sarlat-la-Canéda, Domme. After easy and pleasant walks in the villages we head to Lascaux II, which is shown among the most important caves of the world. We see the Cave and its famous paintings. The cave paintings, which were found by 4 children in 1940, date back to about 17,000 years. The cave has 7,000 paintings including figures of horses, bulls and birds also has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1979. After completing our tour, we return to our hotel and after dinner, we watch a music show at La Rocher De Palmer, one of the city's major showrooms.
Day 4:
Bordeaux and return
1,5 hours drive, 100 km. 2 hours easy walk in the nature.
After breakfast, we go to Lacanau until the flight time of the group. Lacanau is one of the important surf centers of France. We are going to do a small forest, lake and beach walk here and later move to the airport.
