After breakfast, our trip to Provence villages begins. Lourmarin will be our first stop in our program, kneaded with art. Lourmarin, an eternal resting place where Albert Camus spent its last years, is one of the most beautiful villages of France. Our next stop is Lacoste, where the castle of the grandfather left Paris and took refuge after the writings of Marquis de Sade, which could be considered a scandal in 1771. After a short break in Lacoste with its old stone houses, narrow streets and atmosphere that smells of history, we continue to another important village Ménerbes. Picasso's beloved artist and surrealist photographer Dora Maar's home is located here. Picasso, who bought the house in 1944 for his art friend and muse Dora Maar, spent a lot of time here. Ménerbes is also one of the most beautiful villages in France. After the time we spend here, we continue to Gordes, where many scenes of the famous "A Good Year" movie were shot. After seeing the scenes of the movie in this charming town and taking a tea and coffee break, we continue to Roussillon. Samuel Beckett, who escaped from the Germans between 1942-1945 and settled here, wrote his famous book Watt here. Roussillon is also known for an important wine center and ash-colored rocks. After the afternoon trip here, we pass to the lavender fields of Sault, the last stop of our tour. Here we return to our hotel in Aix-en Provence after a walk and photo break between lavender fields. Free time for dinner.
